The football club can confirm that the main stand at the Coral Windows Stadium is to now be officially known as the 'JCT600 Stand'.

Bradford-based JCT600 - one of the UK's largest privately owned motor groups - already sponsor the front of the club's match shirts. The company were founded by City honorary life president Jack Tordoff.

The stand sponsorship will initially run for the next two years - the remainder of the current kit deal.

City's Director of Operations David Baldwin said: "The relationship between us at the club and the likes of Jack (Tordoff) and JCT is very informal. We both have a very close affinity with the city.

"I see it as one big family. We are all pulling in the same direction.

"This is another demonstration that we are building things the right way and building them with longevity. There's no boom and bust here.

Bradford City are a "strong" business according to financial expert

Updated 3:11pm Tuesday 8th July 2014 in Bantams
Bradford Telegraph and Argus: Bradford City are a strong business according to financial expert Bradford City are a "strong" business according to financial expert

The Plimsoll group have carried out a study of the UK's 167 largest football clubs – and the Bantams have been ranked as the 14th most profitable.

The report claims that City, one of only 19 clubs not to make a loss last season, continue to buck the national trend. The 'strong' rating is the highest available and reflects their financial performance over the last 12 months.

A spokesman for Plimsoll said: "What is more impressive is that you have achieved this in a difficult market place where 124 of your competitors are in financial danger and a record number are making a loss."

City are among 25 clubs whose performance is described as strong. The report also states that 58 clubs are now carrying more debt than a year ago.
