Bradford City confirm Irish tour

5:00pm Thursday 22nd May 2014

By Simon Parker

City are heading for Ireland for the third pre-season in a row.

The Bantams are finalising the details of two friendlies in Dublin. They are set to face UCD on Tuesday, July 15 (7.45pm kick-off) and Shelbourne on the following Saturday (3pm).

Director of operations David Baldwin said: "These games have been agreed in principle with the two clubs.

"There is a process you have to follow when you play international friendlies and we have to get written permission first from the FAI and the English FA."

City kick off their pre-season programme against Guiseley on Saturday, July 12 before flying out the next day.
